Post a prediction question — final score, closing price, stat line. Followers reply with their best guess. When the result is in, Claude scores every entry for accuracy and picks the closest. No subjective judgment from the host.
Four steps. Host never touches the scoring.
Tag the bot with "predict" and include a question. Example: "@winwithpickr predict 'What will the Lakers-Celtics final score be?'" or "'Where will SOL close Friday?'" Audience replies with their predictions.
Replies are collected using the same pipeline as random mode. Same conditions apply: follower checks, hashtag requirements, fraud filters.
Reply with the final score or closing price to trigger scoring. The answer is stored alongside the question on the verification page.
Every prediction is sent to Claude in batches of 25. Each gets a 0-100 score. All top scorers enter a seeded random draw. Winner announced with scores visible.
Side-by-side: the same prediction contest on X and Telegram.
Claude evaluates intent, not syntax. Messy replies are parsed. Partial credit is fair.
@alice nailed it. @bob got the winner right and was close on both scores. @dave picked the wrong team. @eve got credit for the right winner but no score. Top 20 scores with reasoning are stored on the verification page.
Submissions auto-close before the outcome is knowable. No cheating window.
"What will BTC close at Friday?" → closes Friday 11:59 PM UTC. "What color is my car?" falls back to a 7-day window. Claude reads the question and picks the right moment to stop accepting entries.
Predict a Lakers game? Pickr recognizes the sport and teams, looks up the real schedule from ESPN, and closes entries at the final buzzer — not the tipoff. Participants get the full game window to submit. Works for NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, NCAA, Premier League, La Liga. If the game is already finished when you post, entries close in 60 seconds.
Need a specific window? Add "in 2h" before your question: @winwithpickr predict in 2h Who wins tonight? or /giveaway predict in 30m What's the score?
On X, webhook entries are rejected after the deadline. On Telegram, the Mini App shows "Submissions closed" and the POST returns 410. No way to sneak in after the answer is known.
On time-sensitive predictions — sports, crypto, and market closes — earlier picks get a small scoring bonus: up to +3 points at giveaway start, decaying linearly to 0 at the deadline. Conviction gets rewarded without letting time override accuracy: a perfect answer still beats a wrong one, but among close calls the earlier committer wins. Static-knowledge questions like trivia keep pure Claude scoring — the answer is the same whether you pick now or an hour from now.
"Lakers 112-108" and "LAL 112 BOS 108" both score 100. "SOL $145" and "solana at 145" both score 100. Claude parses what was meant, not what was typed.
"LAKERS IN 6 🔥🔥 112-108 LFG" — extracts "Lakers 112-108" as the prediction. Emojis, hype, and filler are stripped.
"$148" scores higher than "$160" when SOL closed at $145. "Lakers 114-110" beats "Lakers 120-100" when the score was 112-108. Magnitude matters.
Every score comes with Claude's reasoning. "Exact score match" or "Right winner, off by 6 points total." Visible on the verification page.
Multiple perfect scores? All top scorers enter the same seeded random draw. Same seed, same outcome, every time.
Copy a prompt, swap in today's matchup or ticker, and you're live.
